New York -- A new Deloitte report states that wireless telecommunications companies in the United States could invest $25 to $53 billion in fourth generation cellular wireless networks (4G) between 2012 and 2016, triggering $73 to $151 billion in gross domestic product growth and creating 371,000 to 771,000 jobs. Additional growth could occur as high-tech companies create new mobile broadband products and services, further changing the way people live, work and learn.
The Deloitte report, “The Impact of 4G Technology on Commercial Interactions, Economic Growth and U.S. Competitiveness,” investigates the economic dynamics surrounding 4G technology and explains how the U.S. can maintain the global leadership position in mobile broadband innovation it won during the 3G era.
The $25 billion figure assumes a baseline scenario in which U.S. 4G deployment proceeds at a moderate pace and the transition from 3G to 4G extends to the middle of the decade. Under these conditions, U.S. firms are vulnerable to incursions by foreign competitors capitalizing on aggressive efforts in their home markets to deploy 4G networks and develop 4G-based devices and services.
The $53 billion figure assumes a scenario in which U.S. carriers invest more rapidly in 4G networks and start to produce popular 4G-based offerings before global competitors gain traction. In this scenario, the demand stimulated by new offerings justifies more network investment, setting off a virtuous cycle of investment and market response that positions the U.S. to retain its mobile broadband leadership.
“Investment in such a powerful form of communication contributes to the economic recovery and provides a job-creating engine for the future,” said Phil Asmundson, vice chairman and U.S. media and telecommunications sector leader, Deloitte LLP. “The key to harnessing the potential benefits of 4G technology lies in America’s market-driven wireless sector, which encourages the emergence of innovative applications that spur productivity and could produce the same surge of innovation and demand we experienced during the 3G era.”
Global Competition Should Spur U.S. Innovation and Investment According to the report, more than 150 carriers in 60 countries are currently committed to 4G deployments and trials. South Korea, Sweden and China are examples of countries moving rapidly to reap the benefits of 4G technology.
Cloud Computing Accelerating 4G Capabilities Rapid adoption of cloud computing further enables the U.S. to take full advantage of 4G’s potential impact by allowing developers and entrepreneurs to analyze the market’s response to new applications, content, solutions and business models – cheaper and quicker.
“Cloud computing will allow handheld devices to be more compact and efficient while making them tremendously more useful and powerful,” Asmundson said. “Applications, storage and computing power all can largely reside in the cloud, but only if connectivity is robust, reliable and secure. The benefits of 4G and cloud go beyond the telecom sector. Together, 4G and cloud technologies support the kind of entrepreneurial ecosystem that has made the United States a mobile broadband leader.”
The advent of high-performance wireless capacity, coupled with cloud infrastructure and other advances, is proliferating new offerings and capabilities that exceed what has been possible with 3G technology, the report notes. In addition to consumers, a variety of U.S. end-user industries, including nonprofit and government entities, are likely to use devices and services incorporating the capabilities of 4G technology to better serve their customers, patients, clients and students. This includes applications such as augmented reality for businesses, machine-to-machine technology involving the use of sensors and actuators and the development of smart highways.
4G Enabling Marginalized Groups Deloitte’s report indicates that the deployment of 4G mobile broadband has special implications for certain disadvantaged markets including minority groups, rural communities and localities with limited access to full broadband connectivity and some small businesses. The report explains how equipping these marginalized groups with 4G access helps move them further into the nation’s economic mainstream, thereby serving the public interest while boosting U.S. competitiveness.
Lessons from the 3G Revolution Deloitte’s analysis emphasizes that America’s success in 3G was driven by entrepreneurial innovation. When the government auctioned large amounts of spectrum, removed spectrum caps limiting individual carriers’ spectrum holdings and permitted market forces to operate, private enterprise pursued new opportunities and a robust 3G ecosystem was born.
The FCC is moving to expand spectrum supply through a new incentive auction, but the report indicates that it will be difficult to keep pace with projected demand. Report says the new phone named “HTC Ruby” will feature top of the line Android power, release date by end of this year.
A new report posted by TmoNews reveals the upcoming, but still good as a rumor HTC Ruby Android smartphone. The note claims the Ruby phone from the Taiwan-based company will include 4.3 inches diagonal touchscreen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, dedicated camera button, and 1 GB of dedicated RAM.
Apparently, the same website was the first to leak the Samsung Galaxy S II variant for the T-Mobile USA carrier, the so-called Samsung Hercules.
It is highly possible that the HTC Ruby is the Taiwan OEM’s bet against the popular Samsung Galaxy S II variant that should include 1.2 GHz dual-core processor “only,” and with the same quality cameras, 8 MP back, 2 MP front and 1 GB of dedicated Random Access Memory for quick execution of applications and User Interface “snappiness.”
The report also added additional information about the Samsung Hercules — and according to TmoNews unnamed sources, the Samsung Hercules aka Galaxy S2 will arrive by late September, adding credence to previous reports claiming that Samsung will unveil all its Galaxy S II smartphones for United States smartphone market, and the release dates will be in September via multiple carriers.
No words yet about the Android operating system version of the HTC Ruby, which is one of the most important features that a new Android smartphone must include, knowing that Google is expected to release a new upgrade for the popular smartphone operating system, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Another interesting part of this Android superphone story is the “HTC Vigor” which is also rumored to include dual-core 1.5 GHz processor like the HTC Ruby. It’s highly possible that the Ruby is the GSM version, while the Vigor will be the CDMA/LTE version of the new HTC Android smartphone member.
T-Mobile and HTC are not yet announcing the HTC Ruby, and if it is a phone that will arrive in USA, so we should take this new rumor with a grain of salt.
Forget the rumors of an iPhone 4S coming this fall. In fact, you may be able to forget an iPhone 4S entirely. Word on the street from Boy Genius Report is that the iPhone 5 is coming.
Apple has been rumored to be testing iPhone 4 (or 4S) models for T-Mobile and Sprint lately, causing many to conjecture that an iPhone 4S release this fall is entirely possible (with a full iPhone 5 release in January). BGR, however, “has independently confirmed that the next-generation iPhone will not merely be an upgraded iPhone 4 as had been previously rumored.”
The iPhone 5 is coming in August.
At least that’s what BGR’s sources are reporting. Apple could make the iPhone 5 announcement in early August with a late-August availability expected.
Of course, Apple generally announces new iPods in September at the end of its annual back to school deal, but the source claims the company won’t muddle the iPod lineup with the iPhone announcement.
As for the iPhone 5, specs are limited, though you can bet on a faster processor, upgraded camera, better graphics, and a new case design (which seems to be the only real “evidence” anyone has that a new phone is on the way).

تذكر: الخط الواحد يكلف موبينيل 100 جنيه كترخيص تدفعه للدولة فكر معي: ماذا لو أنا و أنت تخلصنا من خطوط موبينيل في سلة المهملات ... بعد ثلاثة أشهر من عدم الاستخدام سوف يتلف الخط و يبطل الرقم و بعدها بثلاثة شهور يتم بيعه لعميل آخر كما هو منصوص في العقد مع الشركةو بالتالي بعد ستة شهور من المقاطعة و عدم استعمال الخطوط ستجد موبينيل عندها قل مثلا مليون خط من فئة 012 تركها أصحابها و ستأخذها لتعيد بيعها لناس جدد و هكذا لن تحتاج لشراء رمز جديد و مجموعة جديدة من الخطوط نعم خسرت موبينيل: عندما نترك استخدام خطوطها و لكنها ستكسب جزئيا أنها ستجد عندها خطوطا لبيعهاركز معي:في عام 2005 كان المصريون ينفقون 22 مليون جنيه في اليوم الواحد على مكالمات المحمول واليوم أجزم أن نصيب موبينيل في اليوم الواحد أكثر من 20 مليون جنيه من مشتركيها الـ 13 مليون لنقل أن مليونا من المشتركين اشترك في الحملةفترك استخدام الخط إذا موبينيل خسرت 2 مليون يوميا و ذلك لأن من سيقاطع هو من كان يستخدم الخط أصلا هل ستعوض موبينيل خسارتها هذه ؟: الجواب نعم فالمليون مشترك لو تركوا خطوطهم حتى تفسد و تصبح ملك موبينيل و تعيد بيعها فستكسب من ثمن بيعها 15 مليون جنيه كما لن تحتاج ان تشتري مليون خط أخرى بمائة مليون جنيه أي أن ترك الخطوط حتى تتلف و تعود ملكيتها لموبينيل يجعل الشركة تكسب 115 مليون جنيه تقريبا و لكنها تخسر 2 مليون جنيه يوميا لمدة ستة شهور أي حوالي 120 مليون جنيه ( الستة شهور هي الفترة التي تستطيع بيع الخطوط بعدها )فمجمل الخسارة 120 - 115 = 5 ملايين في ستة شهور ( رقم زهيد جدا ) لكن هذا الرقم يقفز إلى 120 مليونا إذا احتفظنا بالخطوط و في نفس الوقت لم نستخدمها فتخسر موبينيل بسبب عدم استخدامنا و لن تربح الخطوط خسروا الاستخدام و تعطلت الخطوط مازلت أذكر جيدا عندما كنت جديدا في شركة المحمول ... قال لي المهندس وقتها: إعلم أن أغلى resource عندنا هو أرقام الهاتف ... و كل من يعمل في شركات المحمول يعلم جيدا أن الشركات ترصد يوميا عدد خطوطها المستخدمة و عدد الخطوط الجديدة المتوفرة في الأسواق و لم يتم بيعها بعد و تبدأ الشركة في شراء شريحة الأرقام الجديدة حينما يبلغ عدد الخطوط المستخدمة حاليا 8 ملايين ، لو كان أحدكم يتذكر أن موبينيل بسبب رخص قيمة الخط و بسبب كثرة توزيعها للعروض على الناس نفدت منها خطوط 012 قبل ان تنفد 010 من فودافون و لذلك اشترت 018 قبل أن تشتري فودافون الـ 016 و هذا كما تعلمون يعني المزيد من التكلفة يبقى انت دلوقتي تحول ببلاش لاتصالات و بنفس الكود و الرقم حتى لا تستطيع موبينيل بيع نفس رقمك مرة أخرى ، حول لاتصالات مجاناً من أي مكان في مصر واحتفظ بنفس رقم شبكتك القديم (012 او 010 ) ولكن سيتم نقلك الي شبكة اتصالات لتحاسب حسب خطة اسعار شبكة اتصالات وتشحن بكروت اتصالات الان بأمكان عملاء شركات المحمول " فودافون وموبينيل " من الانضمام لشركة اتصالات والاستمتاع بجميع خدماتها من أقوى العروض والخدمات، أحدث تكنولوجيا أعلنت شركة اتصالات عن إتاحتها التحويل لها بنفس الرقم من أى مشترك على شبكات المحمول الأخرى وذلك تيسيرا على المشتركين ولتفتح الباب أمام مشتركي المحمول للتنقل بحرية بنفس أرقامهم لشبكتها، دون تحمل أي أعباء مالية نتيجة ذلك.وصرح خالد الخولي الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع التسويق بشركة اتصالات بأن الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات كان قد سمح منذ سنوات بإتاحة خدمة الانتقال بنفس الرقم ونفس الكود بين شبكات المحمول مقابل رسوم تبلغ 75 جنيها، وهو ما جعل الكثير من المشتركين يبتعدون عن هذه الخدمة رغم أهميتها، ويأتي قرار شركة اتصالات مصر بإتاحة الخدمة مجانا ليزيل العقبة التي كانت تواجه انتشارها، حيث كان عدد كبير من المشتركين يفضلون الاحتفاظ بأكثر من خط بدلا من الانتقال بنفس رقمهم مع سداد الرسوم المقررة لهذه الخدمة.هذه الخدمة متاحة الآن في جميع فروع الشركة المنتشرة بجميع المحافظات وكذلك فروع وكلائها ومنها راية وI2 ومنافذ توزيع الشركة التي تغطى أنحاء مصر كافة، حيث يستطيع أي مشترك على أي شبكة أخرى أن ينقل رقمه لشركة اتصالات مع الاحتفاظ بنفس الرقم ونفس الكود بمعنى أن المشترك الذي لديه رقم يبدأ بكود 010 أو 012 أو 017 أو 016 أو 018 أو 019 أو أي كود آخر يمكنه أن ينتقل بنفس الكود ونفس الرقم لشبكة اتصالات.كل ما عليك ان تتصل بخدمة عملاء الشركة التابع لها (موبينيل مثلاً ) وتخبرهم ان يعطوك رقم الحساب وهو عبارة عن رقم من عشرة أرقام ثم أذهب لأى فرع اتصالات وإجراءات التحويل تستغرق خمس دقائق فقط
خلاصة القول:ماتسبش رقمك وعلشان يتم التحويل لإتصالات يجب مرور عام كامل على اشتراكك في شركة المحمول التي ترغب في الانتقال منها يمكنك اختيار نظام الكارت المدفوع مقدماً أو الفاتورة بصرف النظر عن خطة الأسعار التي كنت تتبعها في الشركة الأخرى لتفاصيل اكتر عن كيفية التحويل لإتصالات التوجه لأقرب فرع اتصالات او اتصل بخدمة العملاء 333 من اى خط اتصالات او 0235346333 من اى خط ارضى
