Last week,
South Korean
mobile phone
maker
Samsung
made official
its newest
Android-
based flagship
device, the Galaxy S III , which
should arrive on shelves in various
markets around the world in before
the month’s end.
The mobile phone will be released in
three different flavors, based on the
amount of storage packed inside it,
namely 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
There will be two color flavors of the
device available for acquisition, and
both of them will hit shelves in
Australia, it seems.
In fact, various retailers in the country
have already placed the new device
on their websites, offering details on
the price tag it would sport when
purchased free of contract.
Thus, the phone can be seen on
Mobicity’s website at $799 (around
615 Euros) for the 16GB flavor, $899
(aprox 690 Euros) for the 32GB
variant, and at $999 (about 770 Euros)
for the 64GB version.
Kogan has it slightly cheaper, at $789,
$889 and $989 for the 16GB, 32GB
and 64GB variants, respectively.
Dmavo has the 16GB flavor up for
pre-order too, at the same price.
All three models can be seen on
Expansys as well, through only the
16GB version has a price tag attached
to it, namely $745.91 (around 575
Euros).
As the guys over at Ausdroid note,
some of these retailers will ask you to
pay for shipping, so additional
charges might add on top of the listed
price tags.
Ordered Galaxy S III units are said to
arrive in users’ hands on May 28th at
the earliest. Kogan has listed the
mobile phone with this release date
next to it, while Mobicity expects it to
ship on May 30th.
In addition to the device, users are
also offered the option to purchase
accessories, including Cover Cases, a
Battery Charger Stand, MicroUSB to
HDMI Adapter and more. Expansys
has all of these on its website, and
those who are interested in getting
any of them should head over there
for details.
